Installer Design App Shading Tool Now Approved for Use in NYSERDA’s NY-Sun Program

We are pleased to announce that the Enact Installer Design Shading Tool is now approved by NYSERDA for use in project applications under the NY-Sun program.

Participating Contractors, effective immediately, can begin using the Installer Design App shading tool to generate shading reports for their project submissions to NY-Sun. While the NY-Sun Program Manual is expected to be updated in the upcoming revision (anticipated within the next month or two),

This marks a significant step forward in streamlining the design and documentation process for solar installers in New York. The integration of the Installer Design App shading tool enables faster, more accurate assessments of solar potential, aligned with NYSERDA’s compliance requirements.
